Our Last Deployment

The last deployment was a year ago. Our troops were deployed to Haiti. It lasted only about 2 months. I was about 4 or 5 months pregnant with Elli when he was deployed. We had a rushed good bye in a Taco Bell parking lot. He was one of the first soldiers from his unit to deploy and it was a last second scheduled flight. We made the best of it.

Making Daddy Faces

"Hey kids... Make a face that Daddy makes!" HA HA.

These are the best daddy faces I've ever seen. Almost every one I talk to tells me how much they look like their Dad. Yep, these faces surely look like their Daddy. ;)

Daddy I've grown

While you have been gone, I have turned 9 months. I can sit up on my own, but I still dont want too. I can crawl on my hands and knees, but I still prefer to drag myself around. I pull up on things, and Mommy "Eliyana, your gonna get hurt." She never lets me in the fireplace or push any of those buttons. I am eating more then you can even imagine and Mommy is way to slow about shoveling it in. I've decided spoons were pointless and now everything is a finger food!!
